What we collect
Petition form: your name, country and, if you choose, your email. Help form: your first name, preferred reply app, number and, if you choose, your email. Contact form: your name, email, preferred reply app and message. That is the complete list.
Why
To count and present petition signatures, to reply to requests for help and messages, and to send petition updates if you gave your email. We never sell your data.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are collected and stored by Netlify Forms, part of Netlify, which also hosts this website. They stay in our Netlify account until we delete them. Requests for help and contact messages are also forwarded to our volunteers' private case inbox so that we can reply. Donations are handled by GoFundMe under its own privacy policy; we never see card details.
Analytics and advertising
If you accept cookies in our banner, Google Analytics and a Reddit advertising pixel are loaded, and Reddit may be told that a form was submitted. If you decline, neither is loaded.
Retention
Personal information is deleted one year after your case closes or the petition campaign ends, unless the law requires longer retention.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to us via the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
Minors
This service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
